• Accommodation Details: Please submit your hotel reservations or an invitation letter if you’ll be staying with friends or family in Singapore.

• Authorisation Letter: Include a signed authorisation letter. You only need to fill in your signature; leave the rest of the fields blank.

• Proof of Residence: If your current address differs from what’s listed on your passport, attach documents like a rent agreement or recent utility bills (electricity, water, or phone) as proof.

Singapore Visa Checklist 2025: List of Documents

1. Valid Passport

Your passport is the most essential part of your visa application. It must have a minimum validity of six months from your intended date of arrival in Singapore. Ensure that it has at least two blank pages. Even though Singapore issues an eVisa (in most cases), you’ll have to submit your passport while applying, and you will also need to submit any previously issued passports, even if they are expired, for verification purposes.

Note: When your visa is issued, you’ll receive an email with the confirmation, and the passport will be delivered to you. Singapore doesn’t put any stamps/stickers on your passport.

2. Recent Photographs

Submit two recent passport-sized photographs measuring 35mm x 45mm. The photos must meet the following specifications:

• White background with a matte finish (no glossy prints).

• Your face should occupy 80% of the frame, with both ears visible.

• Avoid shadows, reflections, or accessories that obscure facial features.

• The photos must be taken within the last three months.

3. Visa Application Form (Form 14A)

Complete the official Singapore visa application form (Form 14A) accurately. Ensure that all fields are filled in capital letters, and the form is signed by the applicant.

4. Recent Bank Statement

Provide your last 6 months' bank statements to demonstrate financial stability and your ability to cover expenses during your stay in Singapore.

• The statement should be recent (no older than three days) from the date of application.

• Digital or e-statements are acceptable, provided they include your name, account number, and bank seal or logo.

5. Cover Letter

Include a signed cover letter explaining your purpose of travel, duration of stay, and details of your itinerary.

• If you are self-employed, use your company letterhead to issue the letter.

• The letter should be addressed to the Consulate of the Republic of Singapore and must clearly mention your travel dates, flight details, and contact information.

6. Flight Bookings

Attach a copy of your confirmed flight itinerary showing your round-trip or onward travel.

• The booking must clearly display your name, flight number, and travel dates.

• While confirmed tickets are preferred, provisional bookings from a verified travel agency are also accepted in most cases.

7. Accommodation Details

Submit proof of where you’ll be staying during your visit. This can include:

• Hotel booking confirmations with your name, check-in, and check-out dates, or

• An invitation letter if you are staying with friends or relatives in Singapore.

8. Authorisation Letter

Include a signed authorisation letter allowing the travel agent or visa service provider to submit your application on your behalf.

• Only your signature is required; leave the remaining fields blank.

• This document is mandatory if a third party is handling your visa process.

9. Proof of Residence

If your current residential address differs from what’s listed in your passport, you must provide valid proof of your present address. Acceptable documents include:

• Rental agreement, or

• Recent utility bills, such as those for electricity, water, or telephone service.
  Ensure these documents are recent and clearly display your name and address.

Singapore Visa Documents Required for Minors

If the visa applicant is a minor (under 18 years of age), a few additional documents are required to complete the Singapore visa application. These ensure proper authorisation and verification for the child’s travel.

Here’s what you’ll need to include:

• Proof of identity and age, such as a valid ID card or school certificate.

• Birth certificate of the minor applicant.

• Copies of the parents’ passports or other valid identification proofs (such as a PAN card).

• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from a parent or legal guardian if the minor is travelling alone. This letter should be signed and clearly state the child’s consent for travel to Singapore.

• Leave approval from the school/college might also be required.

Singapore Visa Documents Based on Employment Status

In addition to the standard Singapore visa checklist, applicants are also required to provide specific documents depending on their employment or professional status.

For Working Professionals:

• A copy of the job offer or employment letter from the employer in Singapore.

• Salary slips for the last three months to verify income and employment stability.

• A valid employee ID card as proof of current employment.
